Going to the Ele is becoming a habit!
The menu has just changed and this week I had the Venison Wellington and my wife had the Monk fish.
Both meals were excellent and couldn’t be faulted, the venison was so tender, the best I’ve ever had. Sadly, no room left for pudding!

Lovely food. Great atmosphere – open fire and very cosy. Quiet Tuesday night but really enjoyed it. Men had steaks, I had the calves liver – replaced the broccoli with home made onion rings. Couldn’t fault it. I was torn between the liver and monkfish so need to go back. Steak on a Wednesday cooked over the open fire – need to book that too! Lots of gins and local ingredients. Well worth it. House red was good too. Plenty of parking.
