A GREAT NIGHT AT THE GRILL – Went along, for the first time, to the now-famous ‘Steak Night’ where Christian grills on the open log fire in the bar.
This may sound like an exaggeration, but it’s not… I had what is probably the best fillet I’ve ever eaten. Cooked to absolute perfection and absolutely no need for a steak knife! Proper real chips too!
My wife is not so fond of steak, so went for the Red Snapper, grilled in the same way. She was equally ecstatic about it as I was about the steak.

Our steak night, every Wednesday 6-9pm is something very special to us, and something we want to make special to you.
The steaks are 120 day aged, with a choice of Fillet, Sirloin or Rib-eye cooked over our open fire by our head chef Christian Ponte.
We also offer T-bone, Chateaubriand and Côte de Boeuf (depending on availability, call to ask in advance and we can arrange for the particular cuts to be available that night).
We are very proud to mention that steak knives are not needed and we are flexible with size of cuts etc.
STEAK NIGHT – A REAL MUST DO EVENT. Just a delight, a Happy greeting an easy discussion about the Steaks on offer and away you go. Truly the most delicious beef I have eaten for years served sizzling straight from an open oak log fire. Beautifully cooked and just asking you to enjoy and delight in its flavour.
